...as received: Subject: Franklin Roosevelt's Voice from the Past on "distribution of national wealth" at 1935 Chicago Convention Date: Sat, 8 Nov 2008 From: "joe the plumber, a German American" In researching out the Federal Register Congressional Records at the UAA a couple of days ago on the unconstitutional Federal Register Act of 1935 and the Administrative Procedure Act of 1946 I tripped on this on *redistribution of wealth* quote from a speech given by FDR at Chicago, Illinois when he accepted the nomination by the Democrats. This speech in the Congressional Records is by Senator Long who is really unhappy with FDR and his wasteful spending. Senator Long touts his many attributes of being governor of Louisiana prior to being a senator with all of Louisiana's strides forward. Senator is a very strong advocate and source of "share-our-wealth-plan." From Senator Long's radio speech added to the Congressional Record, to wit: "It became known as the "share our wealth" plan in later days. Before Mr. Roosevelt was nominated, I had seen to it that he had committed himself to this principle, in the main, and that he had promised to commit himself after his nomination. And so, at the *Chicago convention*, he appeared and made this pledge, which I quote from his speech: If you read bottom right column of page 11518 and the upper left column of 11519 - doesn't this sound like Barack Hussein Obama's future for America using taxation and other means. |
