Dear friend of liberty,

Our fight for liberty continues.

The Liberty Committee was formed two years ago by a group of men and women who embrace the treasured proclamation of 1776 that "...all men are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness...."  This once-small group has grown to include over 40,000 people from every congressional district in our country.  These activists for liberty are Americans; divided not by race, gender, education, occupation, geography, religion or national origin, but united by the knowledge that liberty improves the well-being of every person.

The Liberty Caucus was also formed two years ago by 16 members of the U.S. House of Representatives.  I organized the caucus for the benefit of my congressional colleagues who also embrace the treasured proclamation of 1776 and who want to take a position for or against legislation based on constitutional principle.

During the last two years, Liberty Committee activists and Liberty Caucus members joined forces to defend and advance liberty by being actively involved in our national legislative process.  Executive orders, national sovereignty, and privacy were the issues that called for our greatest efforts during these last two years.  I am pleased to tell you that our efforts met with success!

On January 3rd, members of the new 107th Congress took their oath of office.  Today, our new president took his oath of office.  I am hopeful that we will meet with even more success in the future.

To those of you who have been with us during these last two years, I offer my deepest appreciation for your efforts and support.  To those of you are just learning about The Liberty Committee and The Liberty Caucus, I invite you to join us.
